ABOUT ME

Chady Pantaleon is Utterly Fascinating and started doing makeup in 2008 “As far as I can remember, I have always been creative. I have tried venturing to different artistic platforms where I can flourish. My parents were tailors, and I grew up with the possibility that I can be a designer. It didn’t happen obviously, but I am happy I have finally arrived to my humble calling and carving my own little niche in make-up.” He earned a scholarship and pursue formal education in makeup artistry at the Academy of Beauty and Arts in Manila. “And experimented with various styles before, which is a natural progression when you are a beginner. My creative growth was natural and organic; it was part trial and error thrown with lots of risks and leaps of faith. I learned from empirical truths. That is how you learn: experiences. My personal make-up style is light and natural. I always approach my muse with a sense of modernity, practicality and femininity. I always equipped myself with new techniques, styles and trends and employ these learning to my core foundation.” and been guest affiliates in some brands of makeup like MAC ESTE LAUDER CLINIQUE MARYKAY EVER BELINA NYX and also been featured in SKyCable HBO, Cebu Daily News , Inquirer ,Sunstar TRIPmagazine and Zee Lifestyle Magazine. “I am a beauty addict. Anything that inspires me or appeals to my taste turns me to an obsessive creature. Any medium that can help me push my craft further or challenge the notion of makeup and beauty, I am there. We live in a modern world and it is exhilarating to see so many options and alternatives now to represent your art. I was planning to take up fine art courses and really study its theory and the same time upgrade my creative ammunition by learning prosthetics and makeup effects for personal projects, tv and film.”

The Buddhist monk Thich Nhat Hanh penned the most beautiful quote about beauty, and I believe every word. Beauty is self-acceptance. One must first accept who he/she is and work around with what is given. One must assess her weakness and strength. Work with what was given, and make it count. If you are clever maybe you can translate your flaws into a trademark. Once you have fully accepted yourself, then you can start the decoration. Now, this is where makeup enters. Makeup can enhance and highlight your facial assets and conceal the imperfections. To present the best version of yourself, your best features forward.
